The CQC statement
“We work with people to understand and manage risks, and acknowledge that living with risk is normal. We do not restrain or restrict people unless absolutely necessary and proportionate.”
This is one of the Safe Quality Statements in the CQC Single Assessment Framework. To meet it, providers need to demonstrate relevant evidence during assessment.
